Recruitment Salary Range:  $78,000.00 - $122,029.96 

The FDOT is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Transportation Development.  This position serves as a member of the Leadership Team in the District Three Office located in Chipley, Florida.  High level leadership and executive management capabilities are required to ensure the accomplishment of expected standards of performance and to develop and foster relationships among other agencies and outside organizations, governmental bodies, and the public.  The position serves as a representative of the Department in District Three’s sixteen counties and must be aware of each area’s culture, economic conditions, and transportation priorities.  Experience must demonstrate the ability to perform assigned duties.

This position is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating programs for these key areas:   Planning, Public Transportation, Environmental Management, Design, Right of Way, Right of Way Mapping and Surveying, and Production Management.
